GHT: Glass House Technologies
The company

We started this after years
of fixing other people’s work.

We are a low-voltage and technology contractor in Huntsville, Alabama. Here is how we run a job and what we hold ourselves to.

Our story

The technical part was never the hard part.

We came up doing field and engineering work on jobs that were split across three or four vendors who never talked to each other. The cable was usually fine. What failed was the part in between: who owned what, who was supposed to call whom, and what was actually supposed to happen at handoff.

So we built the company around that part instead. One scope. One project owner with a name and a phone number. A written escalation path. Acceptance criteria agreed on before anybody mobilizes. Our own crews and the partners we bring in work to the same standard, because you should not be able to tell the difference from the ground.

The point of all of it is simple. When we leave, your team should be able to open a closet, read a label, and keep going without calling us.

Mission

Do it well enough that nobody has to think about it again.

If we do our job right, your network is invisible. Your floors don't flood with vendor trucks. Your IT director sleeps. That is the bar.

Values

Four things we do not bend on.

01

Precision

Every cable, every label, every termination is a piece of engineering, not a piece of plumbing. We obsess over the small things because they compound across the lifespan of the network.

02

Accountability

One PM, one phone number, one escalation path. We don't hand off blame between trades. If something is in our scope, it's our problem until you tell us otherwise.

03

Longevity

We design around documented requirements, serviceability, and realistic growth. The most expensive infrastructure is the kind that gets replaced early because nobody planned for what came next.

04

Partnership

We would rather have your next ten jobs than win an argument about this one. That has cost us money on individual projects and it has never once cost us a customer.

Built differently

How we are set up, and why that matters to you.

01

You talk to someone who knows the work.

Every consultation starts with the environment, constraints, and desired outcome. The person shaping the solution carries that context into the statement of work and the delivery handoff.

02

Our crews and our partners work the same way.

GHT combines direct team members with vetted delivery partners when the program requires them. The scope, qualification requirements, communication path, and acceptance standard stay under one accountable owner.

03

The proof is named before we start.

The proposal names the closeout evidence for the exact scope, such as test results, labels, photos, asset records, or as-built documentation, so the handoff is inspectable before work starts.

04

The people who built it are the people who keep it running.

The same team that designed it deployed it. The same team that deployed it manages it. Continuity across every phase, without the institutional amnesia that comes from vendor swaps.
