The deal
A paid seat inside a company that actually builds things.
Glass House wires data centers, national retail, cameras, fiber, and access control, and we ship the software and tools our own people run on. Interns sit in that work. You leave with hours, a name on real systems, and a shot at a full-time seat that starts at $20–25/hr.
Paid $10 an hour
W-2, same payroll as everyone else. Not a stipend, not unpaid “experience.” Hours you work, you get paid.
Around your class schedule
Semester: 10 to 20 hours a week. Summer: up to 40 if you want the hours. We will work around exams.
School credit is fine
If your department needs a learning agreement, we fill it out. You still get paid. Credit is extra, not a substitute.

Field and networks
You work local jobs around Huntsville, Nashville, and Birmingham. Copper, fiber, cameras, access control, labeling, testing. This is the shop and the jobsite, not the nationwide travel crew.
Hardware and R&D
You sit in the Huntsville bay. Print farm, testers, enclosures, robotics subsystems. You build parts our crews actually take to site, then you watch them fail and you fix them.

Who should apply
CS and IT students who want hours on real systems.
- Currently enrolled in computer science, CIS, IT, computer engineering, or a related program at a two-year or four-year school
- 18 or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to get to Huntsville, Nashville, or Birmingham for the hours you take
- A portfolio, GitHub, class project, or jobsite photos beats a perfect GPA
