One drop. A defined scope.
Cabling and network installation are project services. Ongoing monitoring and help desk support are optional managed services. Each has its own scope, price and acceptance criteria.
One continuous copper permanent link, up to 150 routed feet including service loops, two category-matched terminations, one outlet position and patch-panel port, two standard patch cables, labeling and permanent-link certification. Two ports are two drops. Active equipment and its configuration are separate.

Base rates cover routes up to 150 feet. Plenum cable adds $25 per drop. Each additional started 50 feet adds $50 for Cat6 or $70 for Cat6A, plus $10 for plenum. Planned copper routes over 295 feet require redesign.
Accessible and occupied rates assume work up to 12 feet. Finished areas include ordinary fishing through existing access; destructive opening and restoration need separate approval. Elevated labor and controlled-area handling do not include rental equipment, escorts or special shutdowns.
The cabling-only project minimum is $750. There is no automatic city surcharge or volume discount. We quote travel, access and unusual conditions explicitly and check actual project costs before a fixed agreement.
New conduit, core drilling, trenching, abatement, wall repair/painting, new rack cabinets, lift rental, special firestop assemblies, permits, premium work windows and travel outside the local service area require separate scope. Patch-panel capacity and compatible modules must be confirmed. Rates are GHT planning policy, informed by advertised regional comparisons, and are not guaranteed competitor averages or a final offer.
Build a drop schedule
Group cables with the same conditions. Use the longest planned route in each group, including service loops. A mixed site can have several groups. This calculates a one-time cabling project; an MSP subscription is separate.

Before separately scoped work, travel, access equipment, tax and any verified cost adjustment. A larger network project uses its own minimum; minimums are not stacked.
From survey to handover
- Survey: count each link, measure routes, confirm ceilings, permits, power and shutdown windows.
- Specify: select exact cable, Hubbell outlets and compatible termination tools, Panduit panels/managers and compatible panel modules, plus the required active devices.
- Agree: approve the itemized scope, equipment, price, schedule, acceptance tests and project terms.
- Install and configure: label and certify links, configure approved network rules, test devices and record evidence.
- Accept and support: review test reports, inventory and backups, resolve exceptions, and begin any separately signed support service.
Hubbell and Panduit are preferred component families. The exact jack, tool, panel and module must be compatible; brand preference alone does not establish fit or a combined manufacturer warranty.
