The planned V1 experience

From tracing a run
to checking the wiring.

01 / TEST

See how it’s connected.

T568A/B wiremap, opens, shorts, reversals, miswires and shield continuity are in the V1 plan, alongside approximate cable length, PoE presence and voltage, and numbered remote identification.

02 / TRACE

Follow the tone.

The main unit’s tone generator and separate Wizard Wand are designed as a paired workflow for locating the cable you need.

03 / INTERACT

A clearer view in hand.

A portrait capacitive touchscreen, dedicated home button and front-facing connector row bring the controls and cable connections together.

Meet the Wizard Wand

A field tool
with character.

The companion probe brings a distinctive wand form to cable tracing: a slender tip, sculpted grip, and illuminated accents that connect it visually to the CT-100.

The planned role is practical: receive the main unit’s tracing tone while you follow a cable run. The wand’s final electronics, sensitivity, power arrangement and production construction remain to be validated.

Designed from the enclosure inward

Small details.
A considered tool.

The v7 enclosure keeps the original sculpted form with an 86 × 158 mm footprint. A recessed, labeled connector bay puts RJ45, RJ11, BNC and USB-C on the front, with the home button above the row.

The design includes protected touchscreen glass, a rounded back, hidden magnetic closures and recessed Glass Tech branding. The battery plan calls for a rechargeable approximately 800 mAh LiPo with USB-C power-path charging and a fuel gauge.

Concept lighting, screen artwork and proportions in these renders are illustrative. The specification below reflects the later hardware plan; assembled dimensions remain to be confirmed.

A few useful answers.

When will it ship, and what will it cost?

A shipping date and final price have not been announced. The interest list helps us gauge demand; we’ll contact subscribers when the machine is ready to ship.

Am I placing a preorder?

No. This is a free notification signup. There is no payment, deposit, reservation or purchase commitment.

Is the wand part of the product concept?

Yes. This page presents the CT-100 and its Wizard Wand tracing probe together. Final kit contents and accessory pricing will be confirmed before ordering opens.

Are the pictures a finished production unit?

They are the original product concept renders. The enclosure has progressed through CAD and print review; the electronics, firmware, wand and final field performance still need validation. Battery runtime, measurement accuracy and environmental ratings are not yet announced.
