General Laborer | Field Crew

The door into a real technology career. Travel the country with our crews to data centers, retail rollouts, and commercial sites, learn copper, fiber, cameras, and access control on the job, and get paid the whole way. Zero experience required. Pay starts at $20-25/hr with raises every six months, certs paid on the clock, and a straight path to Data Technician and beyond for anyone who shows up and does the work.

Responsibilities

  • Stage material, pull cable, prep the site, and keep the crew moving.
  • Learn copper, fiber, cameras, and access control on the job.
  • Clean up like the next crew is your name.
  • Travel with a Glass House crew. Most of the year is on the road.
  • Take the 30/60/90 seriously. This seat is the door into Data Technician.

How we measure this seat

  • You are not the reason a crew waits.
  • Helper pace: productive pulls and staging without being told twice.
  • By day 90 you are ready to terminate under a tech, not still fetching boxes.

Who this is for

  • Zero experience required. Show up on time and work hard.
  • Willing to travel the U.S. on a crew.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.

What you get

  • $20–40/hr posted. Starting $20–25. The top end is $40 as you certify and take ownership.
  • Dollar raises every six months for anyone performing.
  • BICSI, OSHA, and manufacturer certifications paid on the clock.
  • Path: technician → lead → superintendent → PM or engineering.
